Daniel Rice d. in 1734, and his son David was one of the administrators of his estate. David was to give Abner 30 lbs when he came of age. David became guardian of Abner in 1734. David was also administrator of his brother William's estate in 1742. William left land in Westfield, MA. It is my belief that David gave Abner the land in Westfield in place of the 30 lbs he was to give him from their father's estate. I haven't been able to find information on Abner from about 1743 to 1754 when he married Experience in Westfield.
