Author: edgerton55902 Surnames: Town, Towne Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newyork.counties.saintlawrence/16529/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Edward Town(e) Sr. (b: 1756) and wife (Agnes) Nancy McDougall (b: 1775) moved to Lisbon N.Y. between 1810 & 1812 with 8 children. Two more children were then born in Lisbon: William H. (b: 1812) and David (b: 1814). I believe Edward Sr. may have died in Lisbon between 1830 & 1840. Looking for specifics of his date of death and place of burial. Last time Edward's wife, Agnes Nancy Town is seen, is on the 1850 Lisbon census living with son, William Town and his wife Sarah. She was recorded as age 70 at that time. I would also like her details of death. It appears that most of their children moved to either Wisconsin or Ontario, but son David Town (b: 1814) remained in the Lisbon area, and possibly son William and his 8 children at least until the 1860's.
