Rounds occurred at her home on Saturday, Sept, 8, after an illness of four weeks. Mrs, Rounds was born in Oswegatchie in 1868, the daughter of the late George and Ellen Rabey. Three children were born, two daughters have died in infancy. A son was accidentally killed in 1930. Surviving are her husband, two grandchildren, and two brothers, Albert and Thomas Rabey of Heuvelton and one sister, Mrs. Arba Hill of Depeyster. The funeral was largely attended, services being conducted by Rev A. E. Sudd. Internment was in Hillcrest Cemetery. The many beautiful flower offerings testified. to the esteem in which she was held by her many frinds. OJ, 14 Sept 1934 I am also descended from Martha & Samuel. EAST LISBON, June 2. - Saturday morning, May 28, about 6 o'clock, Thomas Todd, who was enjoying ordinary good health, started for the field to plant some potatoes, carrying some seed with him. As he did not return for breakfast his daughter went to look for him. About 20 rods from the house she found her father lying in an unconscious condition. She immediately summoned help, which arrived in a few minutes, but life was extinct. The deceased leaves a wife, one son, two daughters and numerous relatives to mourn his loss. The funeral services were held at his late home May 30, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Bruce, pastor of the M.E. church of Morley. The funeral was largely attended. The interment was in Lawrence cemetery. Mr. Todd was a kind husband, loving father and was highly respected by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed by all- He was 83 years of age and emigrated from England to America when a young man. Fatal Accident An old gentleman named Thomas Todd, of Madrid, father of Mrs. Wildredge Green of this City, received mortal injuries on Saturday, 1st of July, from which he died on the 6th. Mr. Todd has been in the habit, for the past twenty years, of visiting Mrs. Green just before the 4th of July, and had just arrived in front of her house when the team was frightened and ran away pitching him out. I have found no death record for either but I have Phebe remarried and dying in Lisbon, New York in 1841. John and Phebe were married in Norwich, Vermont where Phebe grew up with her father Conant. They had 11 children with 2 dying in infancy and all but 3 lived out there lives in either Canton or Lisbon, New York. One daughter moved to Canada and 2 brothers moved to Mississippi with one being Charles Oramel Henry of whom you listed in your post. I do not have any wills, taxes or death records of John or Phebe but I am curious as to your interest or relationship to them and if you have any information on John's family. I have been stumped forever on his family and have even submitted my DNA results to a Henry surname site and also Acestry.com. If I can help you or if you can help me I hope your still out there.
