Have we been in contact prior to this posting? Forgive me if I have forgotten, but it has been quite a while since I have done any LaVine work. I do not know about John. Do you know of any other siblings of John and Philomena? Do you have names, dates of birth/marriage/death and anything else I may add to my line? Please contact me at my home email address, I would certainly be most happy to hear from you. Thanks so much.

My ggrandfather, Thomas Haney married Jane O'Brien, abt. 1867 in St. Mary's Church, Waddington, NY. Witnesses to the marriage were cousins of my ggrandfather. They were Matthew and Alice Hughes. Did your relative, Matthew Hughes, have a brother?

However, they had to restore the data from an old backup and it is now a month behind. The item most effected is my inventory of Ogdensburgh cemetery as I need to re-upload about 1300 photographs. I will start doing that tonight and will send an update when the data is all back online. Thanks for your patience. Anne Cady http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~stlawgen/index.HTM

They aren't sure when it will be repaired. Its been down since Saturday so this is the longest outage I've ever seen with them. I have all my data on my computer as well, but I've got my fingers crossed that it won't all have to be re-uploaded. Hopefully it will be back up soon, but until then, you will get an error message trying to access my cemetery transcriptions and other data. Thanks for your patience, Anne Cady
Cindi, I found some baptism records from St. Mary's in Canton on some of the O'Brien family and was wondering if you would be interested in any of those. They were from around 1874-1900. His wife, Catherine Driscoll, and four children followed in 1855. His mother's name is Mary Daly. We have visited Lowerton, near Schull and located the Barnett and Daly properties listed in Griffiths. We were helped by the Barnetts currently living in Schull. Jeremiah and family are listed in the 1860 census as residents of Waddington. He subsequently purchased a farm on the Potsdam-Madrid Road.
