She was my Grt Grt Grandmother. My Grt Grandmother, Veva O'HARA, was Ambrose O'HARA and Jennie FLEMING's oldest daughter. Veva O'HARA married Dennis BURNS. Their oldest son, Merrill BURNS was my Grandfather. Jennie's parents were John FLEMING and Helen Clark YOUNG. John's parents were Andrew FLEMING and Elizabeth Agnes MORROW. They came to the U.S around 1818 and settled near Rossie, New York. I have them on the U.S. Federal Census since 1830. I am still trying to find out more about the YOUNG and the MORROW families. I have who I believe is Helen Clark YOUNG's mother on the 1850 & 1860 census as living with one of her children.

I suspect that he might have been Daniel's brother. He was born about 1810 and his family lived with Daniel's. If you are interested I can see what information I have for you.

If a trip to Canton is not feasible but you would consider hiring a paid researcher, the St. Lawrence County Historical Assn. could make a referral. I haven't visited the Sampubco site in quite a while. I know my grandfather's will is at the courthouse but there was nothing at Sampubco to indicate that. Online stuff is fine if you find something and it is confirmed by other sources. If you don't see something on line or in someone's index that doesn't necessarily mean the original copy doesn't exist somewhere. Hope this helps - Russ Sprague Kensington, Maryland

I didn't know Hannah had a daughter Evie/Eva. I'll see if I can find some birth info here if you say she was born in Wisconsin. The only thing I have of Hannah is that she requested a picture be taken of herself with her brothers and sisters when whe was here in Wisconsin on one of her visits. I have a copy of that picture. I also found she's buried here in Durand, Wisconsin in her brother's lot. Her husband, William McCleary, isn't buried here. If you have more info on Hannah and Eva, I would really appreciate having it.
