Author: annecady Surnames: Classification: cemetery Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newyork.counties.saintlawrence/16255/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have an offer to make to folks up in St. Lawrence county. If anyone up in the north country would like a photograph of the marker for someone buried in Arlington National Cemetery, I would be happy to try to take it for them (no charge of course). I can then email the photograph, and if there is enough interest, set up a "cemetery" database on my website of St. Lawrence folks buried in Arlington. I can also try to find folks who aren't from St. Lawrence county, I'm not picky. I try to get down to Arlington a couple times a month (weather permitting), and am learning my way around it pretty well. You can either reply to this message on the message board or directly to me at: [email protected] (Put "ARLINGTON PHOTO" in the message title somewhere). If possible, please send the name (first, middle, last) and birth/death dates. It would also be VERY helpful if you can check the site below to determine the plot where the burial was made. http://gravelocator.cem.va.gov/j2ee/servlet/NGL_v1 If you are sure they are buried in Arlington but they don't show up in the VA database above, just let me know that and I can try to work with the clerks to see if we can find the location. Thanks, Anne Cady Manassas, VA (until May 2009) Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Richard McCartha is the son of David Richard McCartha & Ann Byington. David is the son of David MCartha & Minnie Clark. That was all I needed to connect them to my family, how are you related? If you are descendant, drop me a note, I can save you a little time on one part of the family. Laura Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I tried a few names but not sure if they are connected to who you are looking for. "David McCartha" 1st hit an obit for Anna Kellison who was married to David and divorced. "Charles McCartha" "Minnie McCartha" "Richard McCartha" Also try your names with a space between the Mc and the Cartha like "David Mc Cartha" If you search just the McCartha name the are about 1000 newspaper articles about them. If you search Mc Cartha with the space there are 287 articles. Kathy Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
