James Fogerty, b. ca 1823 Ireland, d. 13 Oct. 1882 Rotterdam. He is buried in the Cobblestone Churchyard (2nd Reformed Church). James married Maria Williams dau. of Daniel Williams. She was born ca 1825 Schoharie Co. (per census), d. 15 Mar. 1879 age 54 and buried with husband. Several of their children died of a communicable disease: Issue: Jane Ann ca 1844 d 1 Oct.1860 Catherine c1849 d 16 Oct. 1860 Mary E. ca 1851 d. 16 Oct. 1860 Sarah E. b. ca 1855, d. 16 Feb. 1858 David H. b ca 1863, d. 2 Oct 1860 Eliza N. b. ca 1855, d.28 Oct. 1860 All buried with parents Phebe b. ca 1855, d. 20 Oct. 1860 Margaret b ca 1847-no known data William b 1850 d 1887, bur. with parents. Married Eliza Bullock who d. 1951 and is buried with him in Cobblestone churchyard. Did they have children? Philby b. ca 1858. Nothing known about this child Hattie R. b 1865, d 25 Sept 1875, bur. with parents Kate b ca 1862, d. 14 Oct. 1875, bur. with parents This was a very sad life for this mother who was pregnant with so many of her children died in 1860. I'm seeking information on the children above that I know nothing about. Also of Daniel Williams, father of Maria, who resided with them in 1860, age 68, b. NY. This Daniel was b. ca 1793 Montgomery Co., NY, m. Jane Dunlap and had several children, born in Mont. Co. Daniel is not with the Fogerty family in 1865. I do not know what became of him.
