I've "rescued" an old bible belonging to the CHRISLER Family of New York. Dr. LORD of Cooperstown Births: · William CHRISLER born January 11th 1816 · Caroline SCHERMERHORN born June 2nd 1819 · Anna Elizabeth CHRISLER born June 28th 1843 · Anelisebeth CHRIS. born June 28th 1843 · Isaac N. CHRISLER born in Schenectady, April 7th 1845 · Isack CHRISLER born April 7, 1845 · Amelia Catharine CHRISLER born in the City of Schenectady, May 9th, 1849 · William James CHRISLER born in the City of Schenectady, Sept 14th 1851 · Catharine Amelia CHRISLER born in the City of Schenectady, July 31st 1856 · Adele CHRISLER born in the City of Schenectady, Oct 14th 1859 Deaths: · Isaac N. CHRISLER died Nov 27, 1889 · William CHRISLER died Dec 31st 1889 · Anna Elizabeth CHRISLER WING died March 9th 1891 Other Items: · Portion of Eulogy for Aaron B. GROUT with the Notation “Frank” Based on limited research I find William & Caroline CHRISTLER and three of their children, Elizabeth, Isaac N., and Adelia, living in Schenectady during the 1880 census. Also find William & Annie L. CHRISTLER living with a niece Annie HARDY in Schenectady during the same 1880 census. I believe that Anna Louise TANNER was b. 27 Feb 1851 in Cooperstown, NY to parents Perry G. TANNER and Elizabeth C. MARCHISI. I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this precious family heirloom can be returned to the care of family.
