I am looking for some help on a roadblock finding resting place of my 2nd great-grand uncle the Rev. A. E. Piper. He was born in England 6 Dec 1867, immigrated to Northampton Co, PA in 1870, naturalized in 1880. He married Elizabeth Edna Thomas in Glendon, Northampton Co in 1896. He became a Methodist minister, and had congregations in Glendon PA, Philadelphia PA, Ardmore PA, Beaver Falls PA, and last known in Wilkes-Barre PA in 1920 where he was listed on the Census with his wife and daughter Ruth E. This is the last place I can locate him in any records, so I may assume he died between 1920 and 1930. My only current lead is a reference in a Glenville Property Assessment web page (www.scpl.org/assessments/glenville/st193.html) I found listing: 33 HERITAGE PKWY Owner: PIPER ARTHUR/RUTH TRUSTEE / AE PIPER LIVING TRUST Total Assessed Value: $157,000 Front Footage: 105 x Depth: 164 Square Feet of Living Area: 2,128 Bathrooms: 2.5 Style: Colonial STAR Exemption: Basic Property Class: 210 (1 Family Res) Tax Map # 29.8-3-14 If anyone living in Glenville can tell me anything about this property, or where I could go to find more information about this living trust, I would be most appreciative. Also, if anyone has cemetery indexes for the Glenville area or information about any Methodist churches in Glenville, that may be a place to look also. Thanks, Glenn S. Piper
