ELSIE HENDERSON, b. 1843, Albany County, NY d. 11 April 1881 Schenectady, NY Andrew, from his death certificate, son of JOHN COLEMAN, b. ca. 1798, (1860 census, Schenectady County) living until? and his wife "SARY" deceased by 1850. Sibling of Andrew: ELIZA b. ca. 1843 Children of Andrew and Elsie Henderson Coleman: WILLIAM, 1858 JOHN, 1860 JEREMIAH (JERRY) 1861 my great grandfather SARAH ,1865 ANDREW, 1867 ALLEN B., 1875 I am searching for the wife's sirname of "Sary" wife of John Coleman. I believeshe could have been a VanWormer. There may be a relationship between John Coleman and Elias Van Wormer. 1850 Census, Schenectady County, NY in Rotterdam, NY p. 64, line 3-4, Elias Vam Wormer, (b. ca 1820) head of household. Wife, Mary M. Van Wormer, b. ca 1825; living with them: Eliza Coleman, age 8 and her father John Coleman, age 52, wagonmaker. Was there a relationship between the Van Wormers and Colemans or were they just boarding there? 1860 census, John Coleman is still living with them; Eliza has left. John Coleman had wife "Sary", deceased by these times; son Andrew b. Coxsackie, Greene County, NY ca. 1832. Andrew and family then living in Schenectady.
