    3. I have some empies in my line - who are you looking for? Suggest you contact the Montgomery County Dept. of History and Archives, The Old Court House, Fonda, NY and the Schoharie County Historical Society, 145 Fort Road, Schoharie, NY as well as their web sites at www.usgenweb.org and putting in your names. Also, check out the books by Hank Z. Jones on the Palatine Germans, as I think the Empies were of palatine extraction.
