Andrew Duley born 1820 - 1823 Quebec, Canada. He died November 8, 1906 in Altona, NY. He immigrated to Altona, New York, became a US citizen in 1860. He married Catherine Dryden from Hemmingford, QCaround 1840 but cannot find a marriage certificate/record. The 1850 Clinton County census lists his father born in Ireland and mother born in Scotland. Need some help locating the correct Duley family in Ireland? More than likely the name was changed from the Irish sounding DOOLY /DALY/DOYLE to DULEY upon arriving in Canada.. Immigration papers and obituary state born in Quebec but cannot find birth or baptism record. He was Protestant. He served eight years in the Dominion Service. Where would I find records regarding this service? He lived in Quebec until age 20 but have no information on his parents but would welcome any information. Thank you, Sande in Georgia
