This is for our local users and visitors from a distance: Beginning Monday, September 28, we will be replacing the carpet in the central library. In use since the building opened in 1969, it gave wonderful service, but the duct tape just isn't holding it together anymore. :-) Our services will be disrupted for at least a month, and much of our collection will be unavailable during this period. Access to public computers will also be minimal, so I'm afraid fans of our Ancestry Plus subscription will have to take a break. Use of the microfilm collection will be uncertain at best. We hope services will return to normal by the beginning of November. I'll post an update when that happens.
