Hello, I found some new info on the children of Barbara and Nicholas Reuss recently in Schenectady relating to the estate of John Knefley of Jonesville and died in Rotterdam. I'm related to Barbara through her brother George Martin Knefley. Would like to learn more about this family and could share info on the Knefley family and I have a photo of Barbara. Their children: Elizabeth - married C.A. Whitmeyer ( or Whitmire or Whitmyer) Mayor of Schenectady 1923 Margaret - married Tirrell - one child Dorothy Tirrell - (born about 1916) second husband - Morgan Winters Carrie Schieck - living in East Orange NJ in 1938 when the will was probated. Dorothy Pepper - living in Jewell, NY --- I do not know who this person is. There is also mention of Leonard Reuss - of Emmett St. Schenectady. I do have a contact person in this family line who has been wonderfully kind in sharing family info as well as with the Augusta Castle of Detroit, Mich family in my Knefley line. There are other names in the document (ca 1938) .... whom I'm quite familiar with if anyone is interested in learning what I have about them, I'd be happy to share. Mary F.
