Hello from a new person! I am so lost. I am doing a genealogy book for my daughter so that she can always have it and know where she comes from, but I am running into all kinds of brick walls on my husbands side of the family. Unfortunately for him, his family - both paternal and maternal, do not talk at all. He knows the basics. His fathers name, his mother's name and his maternal grandparents. And the names are all strange and unusual - in my opinion. Can anyone help to solve my problem. I am looking for information on any Puszcz's in the Schenectady, New York area. My husband's grandmother was Genevieve Rosalie Puszcz. His grandfather was Stanley Blaski - former Blasczienski. He changed his name because he was deaf and Blaski was easily for the deaf community to sign. His family lived in Fulton, New York. Genevieve was also deaf. And I am told that her mother's name was Rosalie. And then there is my husband's father. Douglas Albert Schermett. He died in May of 1990. Married to Marie Anna Blaski in 1972. No known information on his family, except that maybe his grandfather's name was Albert Schermett. If you can help me, you don't know how grateful I would be!! Thanks for taking the time to read this - Robecca
