Hi Brenda, The information on Robin Shannon is that he was from Scotland. He married Elisabeth Bowel from New York on 28 May 1750. There were 7 children. George, b. 17 Mar 1751 Thomas, B. 20 Dec 1752 Alexander Michael Margarita, b. 14 May 1858, Married Simon B. Veeder John William Robert There is information about all of the sons. Robin's name is spelled Chanon in the baptism records. I have the Schenectady Baptism and Marriage record books. I am related to about 75% of the persons who were baptized in the Schenectady Reformed Church between 1700 and 1750. Hello Richard, How would I find a marriage record from around 1800 between a Martha Coon and Gideon HOlliday? I think Martha COon was one of the people with the Palentine Patents. I know it has to do with a place in Germany but I am still not that familiar with Palentine research.
