Joseph Carr served in the 13th Regiment of the Albany County Militia during the Rev War and was listed as a taxpayer in the Saratoga Tax District of Albany County, NY in 1779. Abraham Carr's name appears on the 1788 Ballstown Tax District for Albany County, NY. However when one looks at the 1790 Census Return for Albany County neither of my taxpayers are listed on the U.S. Census Return for the districts in which they were listed as taxpayers.
