Thanks, Pat. My William H. lived in the town of Milton. We run into alot of same names, don't we. I know that my William was married to Eliza (Unknown) and had 2 sons, William Wallace Miller, bn 1850 and Montiford (sp) Harry Miller bn Jul 1852. William Wallce Miller is my g-grandfather and his brother went by Harry. I found William H on the 1860 census at age 35 with wife and son in Milton, then in 1870, they were in Greenfield, Saratoga Co., NY. In 1855 New York State census, the 4 of them are listed as all having been born in Saratoga with Willian H listed as William N (the H could have been read wrong). Harry is buried in Middle Grove Cemetery with his wife Sarah Tabor/Taber and some of their children. William Wallace went to Michigan, married, had several children, his wife died and he moved back to New York State and died in Voorhesville, NY and is buried in Mt Pleasant Cemetery next to his youngest daughter, Harriet (Ethel Eliza Miller) and her husband William Hurst III. William Hurst's family owned a place called Hurstville Hotel in the hamlet of Hurstville, Albany Co., NY. I sent a copy of the article - in the Knickerbocker News, Albany, NY on Jan 11, 1952, to a group in Albany who does genealogy for the area. Anyway, that is the info about my William H. Miller and his boys. Maybe I have to try to find out who my William H. Miller's parents were. I have Shephers (surname) in my family also. John Shepherd was bn on Olmstead Ridge, on the Lancaster Rd, 10 miles from Philadelphia. That is really a description of birth. Not sure exactly where that is...... Thanks for listening........Have a great week.
