I've "rescued" two old photographs belonging to the ANNIS Family of New York. The first is a photograph identified as Nathaniel Flood ANNIS which was taken at the Doubleday Studio in Saratoga Springs, NY. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Nathaniel likely in his 50's or 60's at the time it was taken. In addition to his name someone has written what appears to be "his Grandfather" on the back of the photograph. The second photograph is identified as Olivia Eugenia GRISWOLD ANNIS. This photograph was also taken at the Doubleday Studio in Saratoga Springs. The photograph was likely taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Olivia appearing to be in her 20's or 30's at the time. ANNIS, age 53, born NH, a Night Watchman at Depot, parents born VT Minnie C. ANNIS, wife, age 33, born VT, House Keeping, parents born NH/VT Malcom G. ANNIS, son, age 23, born VT, a Watchman, parents born NH/VT (obviously not Minnie's son) Lillian E. ANNIS, dau, age 12, born NY, at School Jennie L. ANNIS, dau, age 11, born NY, at School Nathaniel P. ANNIS, son, age 8, born NY, at School Bertha B. ANNIS, dau, age 6, born NY, at School Clara C. ANNIS, dau, age 9 months, born NY 1900 census of Saratoga Springs, NY: Malcolm G. ANNIS, age 43, born Nov 1856, married 17 years, born VT, parents born VT, a Dry Goods Merchant Olivia ANNIS, wife, age 39, born Aug 1860, married 17 years, 2 children/2 living, born NY, parents born NY Margery ANNIS, dau, age 10, born Sept 1889, born NY, at School Frank M. ANNIS, son, age 3, born Nov 1898, born NY Ella A. QUINN, servant, age 26, born July 1873, born NY, parents born PA/NY, a Cook 1910 census of Saratoga Springs, NY: Olive G. ANNIS, age 48, a widow, 2 children/2 living, born NY, parents born NY Irma M. ANNIS, dau, age 20, born NY, parents born NY Frank M. My TAYLOR cousin, has ANNIS, it comes to Orleans Co, NY, locally town of Albion. They were Mayflower descendants. Could you scan them and put the online, that way many could see them and share.
