Hi All; There's also a Hospital in Middletown, New York. I had a relative die there in 1891 When I contacted the Hospital, they told me the records were too old to mess around with. All I got was his death certificate from Albany. Which doesn't say much. But, I deduce he had a stroke and couldn't take care of himself. A long time ago when a woman went through the change, and was having a ruff time of it the husbands would send them off to a state hospital. I guess you'd say out of sight out of mind?
