I would sure appreciate anyone who attends to inform me of any mention of the Davis family, especially John Davis of whom there were at least 3 by that name in Saratoga County very early. I have had e-mail from Leslie but he may have something new to report other than that one had a wife named Ackerson. My Lucinda Davis was born near Stillwater, NY and was full-blood Mohawk Native. Her born name may have been something other than Davis and was taken in by the Davis family as a young child. It's just all up in the air as of now what her story may be. At any rate she was born in 1786 and died around 1860-65 in Addison, Steuben Co, NY at the home of her son, James Andrus. Thanks for any new information Leslie may talk about. Annette Campbell
