Hi Bill; I went to the SSDI to see exactly where my Uncle died in Jan 1965 and guess what? They don't list a place lol. That's how genealogy goes sometimes. Deanna--You need to go to a source of statewide records. There are a number of sources which will work from a name and date of death, use a search engine to find MICHIGAN DEATH CERTIFICATES. You have no idea where he lived? I have often had County Clerk's offices verify for me on the telephone that a record existed before I went ahead and ordered it.
