I am looking for information on Joseph A. Brown,b. abt 1825, son of Joseph Brown, Sr. and his second wife, Anna (?) of Stillwater, Saratoga Co.,NY. Joseph A. married Catherine b. abt 1827 VT. and had ten children who were raised in Malta, Saratoga County, NY: 1. Leonard J. b. Feb 1850 2. Esther Elizabeth, b. 1854 3. Charles H. b. abt 1856 4. Ida A., b. abt 1857 5. Joseph, b. Oct 1859 6. Lincoln, b. 1 Mar 1861 7. Harrison N. abt 1862 8. Catherine, b. abt 1863 9. John, b. abt 1865, VT 10. William Wallace, b. May 1867, VT ( His only descendant still lives in Stillwater, NY on the family property!) Josiah Brown, b. abt 1800 in Stillwater married Betsey (?) and had the following chldren also in Malta: 1. William, b. abt 1830 2. Ann, b. abt 1833 3. Stephen, b. abt 1835 4. Seymour, b.abt 1837 Thomas Brown of Milton in 1810...Who was he? Both families were in Malta from about 1810 to 1870...Can anyone supply me with anymore information on these Brown families?
