    1. Re: [NYSARATO] Rev War - where did they go? Simeon went to TN
    2. Leslie, I am sure Samuel Right Brown who lived in Milton and Stillwater, either had a relative who went with this group, possibly a brother or sister, or dear friends. He was born in 1775 so he would have been old enough to have formed deep relationships with them.. I am in the process of finding out who his siblings were. I have hired a professional genealogist out of Salt Lake to solve some of my brick walls, and Samuel's siblings are a part of that wall. After 30 years of unsuccessful searching, I finally came to the conclusion I really needed help. Costly but hopefully effective. Samuel was also an owner/editor of the Saratoga newspaper in the early 1800s before he sold out and went to Albany and finally Auburn before his death in 1817 near Cherry Valley. He was on his way home from NYC where he was working on a business deal, probably with his new book that was about to be published. when he suddenly took ill and died in the home of strangers, the Fitch brother near Cherry Valley.
