Looking for ancestors of Timothy Chapman, born Sept. 26, 1789 in unknown. Married Sarah Hiller on Feb. 6, 1817 in the First Presbyterian Church in Saratoga County, Ballston Center, NY. Timothy bought property from an Israel and Sarah Chapman on June 11, 1817. The deed to this property indicates that a Benjamin Chapman owned property next to the property that Timothy bought. Israel Chapman; resided in Charlton, Saratoga County, NY., on the 1810 census. Benjamin Chapman; resided in Charlton, Saratoga County, NY., on the 1810 census. Timothy and Sarah had a son, Henry Platt Chapman, born on Feb. 28, 1819 in Charlton, Saratoga County, NY. Timothy Chapman; resided in Charlton, Saratoga County, NY., on the 1820 census. Timothy died on Aug. 29, 1838 and is buried in the Pine Grove cemetery, Charlton, NY. Sarah (Hiller) Chapman and her son, Henry Platt Chapman, migrated to Elkhart, Ind.
