The two books I ordered from a library finally arrived! Here is what they contain. 1. FRENCH "Gazetteer of NY," originally pub in 1860, reprinted later is a gazetteer of entire state. Saratoga County entry is short, about 11 pages. not a lot of names, but some are there. gives some of the history of each township. Not nearly as useful as Sylvester's History of Saratoga County. 2. HORNE "Genealogical Guide to Saratoga County, NY" 1980. This little book contains references of WHERE to find things--no raw data between its thin covers. However, it did prove useful to me--It stated that the Reynolds Corners Congregational Church records are found in DAR Cemetery Records, Vol 154, p.202. Next time I go to the library, I will look for them! So, I can do lookups for you and reply individually for the next week or 10 days, till they go back. It would be useful, if you could be as specific as possible in requests from HORNE, as things are broken up by township, and within the township, by church. cheers j John F.
