    3. As long I'm asking questions, I may as well ask another. In my previous posting, I asked where Beamis Heights was (towards the bottom, you were probably skimming and didn't catch it). I have a copy of a couple pages of the 1779 Saratoga tax lists with an old relative on it, and I wonder whether it's now possible to figure out where the people lived from their position on the tax list. In March 1779, there were right next to each other: Simeon Snyder Abraham See William Boice They were all family, sort of. William Boyce was Abraham See's brother's father-in-law's son-in-law, if you get my drift. After the war, Abraham's land was confiscated, and there's no sign of him after that. Maybe by coincidence, Abraham's Patriot relatives also ended up in the area (Emerson's corners specifically) and show up in land records ca. 1805. Later another set of relatives moved to Wilton from Gallatin (via Hadley) ca. 1818. In Oct 1779 the tax list has Abraham See sandwiched between Nehemiah Potts and John Vroman. Totally different order. David See Sees of New York http://pages.preferred.com/~dsee/genie.html
