I don't know if this will help, but there is a Forts Ferry Road in Latham, New York (between Troy and Schenectady) off of Route 7 (Troy-Schenectady Road). It goes from Route 7 to River Road which is very close to the Mohawk River near the western border of Albany Coumty. It is due north of the Albany International Airport.
