Hi Saratoga Folks, We have some ancestors (Weeks/Wicks/Wix) who were in Saratoga and Stillwater around the time of the Revolutionary War. In later records they state they were born in NY or sometimes they say VT. Vermont didn't become a state until after they were born (1790ish or so), but I suppose that area was still called Vermont. I've noticed others of you searching Saratoga area ancestors who have Vermont roots. Where in Vermont did they come from? I'm wondering if there was a mass migration from somewhere in Vermont to the Saratoga area. Do any of you know why they would make such a trip or when they came? Thanks for any hints, Kristi
