That is almost worse than searching Smith and > Jones. > Okay here goes: Elizabeth Ann See (1839-1910) b. Wilton NY md. Jeremiah Baker (ca. 1842-1915) son of William Baker (1820-after 1880). Seeking a line on these Bakers. also: Adeline M. See (1852-1882) md. the Gansevoort Postmaster George Henry Pratt (1851-1915). His parents were John C. Pratt & Mary. John C. was b.c. 1822 in Massachusetts. Jayne Pratt Lovelace, the compiler of the "Pratt Dictionary" is unable to place this John C. They had one child Martin See (1797-1876) md. Sarah ROODS who was b. prob. in Greene Co. in 1804. The family lived in Wilton and their son Andrew J. See was the innkeeper in Wilton in the mid-late 1800s. Seeking info on Roods, although that particular spelling seems to be quite rare. (Rhodes, Rood, Root are possible variants) Anne E. Wilcox (1850- 1895) married Charles Franklin See and lived in Wilton. She was the daughter of Sivenas/Sylvenus Wilcox. Clarissa Price (1831-1918) was the daughter of John Price and Elizabeth Scriver. The Scriver line probably comes from SCHRYVERS living in NW Dutchess Co. Whether the PRICE name is English or Dutch (i.e. BREIS or BRISSIE) I don't yet know. Clarissa married in turn Alfred M. SEE, Samuel RAMSEY (who I know nothing about), Frank FORDEN and Orrin LOCKWOOD and lived in Wilton and Moreau. I'm looking at Dutchers in Half Moon in coordination with William B. Bogardus who is compiling descendants of Everardus Bogardus. These Dutchers were likely among these descendants but it has been difficult to prove. Dave
