Banta published 1893 Your Arie Banta b 1797 Saratoga Co is the son of Hildebrant Banta d 04 Sep 1832 & Debra Van Epps dau/o Abraham Van Epps Hildebrant was in the Ballston Regt. in Rev. War His widow Debra, residing in Perth, Fulton, NY is on the application for pension When he enlisted, he lived in Clifton Park, His regiment is credited with driving the Tories out of Mohawk Valley. son Arie Banta b 1797 had 3 wives 1) Nancy Van Wormer 2) Dorcas Worth 3) Ruth Ann Taylor Hildebrant is older brother of Dottie's Peter Banta Hildebrant's parents Arie Banta Elizabeth Lozier dau/o Hildebrant Lozier b Sep 1737 d 20 Dec 1811 and Christine DeBaun This book goes back to the first Banta to come to America n 1640. She said that the book is available to buy at NEHGS in Boston. Someone else on this list had a John Van Vranken who married an Elizabeth Banta. She is the sister of Arie b 1797 and dau/o Hildebrant Banta and Debra Van Epps There is also a Van Vranken genealogy at NYS Library.
