Hi, I know of some people from Saratoga that went west. My ancestor, Henry Edwards, his wife, Sarah "Sally" Baker Edwards, and at least one son, Lewis B. Edwards, and one daughter, Anna Edwards, went to Bloomfield, Green County, Indiana around 1820. Another family from Saratoga also went, the Van Vorst family. Also, my 2nd great grandfather, Byron Edwards, and his wife, Helen Rickerson, went first to Delavan, Walworth County, Wisconsin around 1856. Rumor has it that they went then to Indiana, but I have not yet found them there. After that, they went to El Dorado, Butler County, Kansas around 1881-2. And then Byron homesteaded in Lincoln County, Oklahoma in 1892-96. I hope this will help someone. Kim Nichols
