Martha Jane JACKSON b. 20 May 1827 Saratoga Spring, Saratoga, NY d. 16 Aug 1908 Peoria, Peoria, Ill. married (1) John McINTOSH who may have died supervising work on the Erie Canal(unverified).I find Martha on the 1850 census living in Milton alone with her two girls, Phebe and Mary. She then married John's brother James McINTOSH and by 1860 they have moved to Peoria, Peoria, Ill. I find Chester Jackson's son Hiram JACKSON (b. 1824)on the 1850 census living in Peoria, Ill. but Chester JACKSON (60 yr.)wife(2) Jerusha 53 yr, Speir 8 yr, are still living in Milton, Saratoga NY in 1860. but Chester d. 1867 Peoria, Ill and wife Jerusha d. 1862 buried Peoria, Peoria, Ill.
