Hi Everyone. Robert BUNYAN d. 1799 and Alison BUNYAN d. 1812 came to Saratoga County from Scotland in 1794 as noted in the History of Saratoga County by Sylvester. Also in 1794, Robert HUME 1738-1838 and Alison (WILSON) HUME came to Saratoga County from Scotland. Both families settled on adjoining farms east of West Charlton. To further unite the families, William BUNYAN, d. 1837, the oldest child married Isabel HUME b. 1773. Their son, John BUNYAN 1807-1886, was still living on the Bunyan homestead in 1878.
