I am so very grateful for volunteers like you, who are willing to help those of us who are researching our Family Trees, but we're limited by great distances. I am glad to hear information about my Uncle Lawrence "Larry" Langstrand, but I am truly heartbroken to learn that my Uncle entered this Letchworth Village Institution as a young child, & lived his life here, & ultimately died here to be buried among those souls who were only represented with a number. Really breaks my heart to think that families abandoned these children because they were "Feeble Minded". How very sad. May we never repeat this kind of history. I do have another question for you...&...that is...what official document did you discover that indicates that my Uncle Larry died on 10 March 1967. I have not been able to locate any official report of his death. Please do share. Thanks so much.
