I was going thru George Conklin's National Archives records and a Sarah Ebersole wrote an affidavit to confirm that Catharine was the only wife of George Conklin for the purposes of pension from being a soldier in the war of 1812. The dates are correct as the affidavit was in the 1850's and was from Rockland county NY. It could be that George and Catharine were Sarah's parents. I am looking to connect a Caleb Conklin to this family but so far have not found the link. Thanks for any information you may have.
