I found it this afternoon. Here is what it said: Obituary: Mr. Michael Kearney died at his late residence on Sunday evening at the ripe of age of eighty years. Mr. Kearney was born in Kilkenny County, Ireland and came to this country about fifty years ago, landing at Tomkins Cove which has since been his home. October 15, 1896, Rockland County Messenger, Haverstraw, New York I will continue to look for information on the Michael Kearney family. Looks like he went to New York and not Pennsylvania.
