Hello Fellow Listers, I haven't been following the Secor search closely but I am going to add something that may have already been covered-When I was growing up in Bergen County during the 1940's and 50's, we would visit Secor's Farms in Ramsey. There was more than one Secor,as I remember, because I hunted on their farms in the Ramsey,Saddle River,Woodcliff Lake area. My dad Knew the family because he was a Bergen County cop and patrolled Route 17. They had at least one,and maybe more, fruit and vegetable farm stands on Route 17. One I remember distinctly, was at the point where Crescent Avenue crossed over 17. Try the Ramsey area, you might get lucky. I think that Apple Ridge Country Club may be on some Secor Farms land.
