Hi Jan, Are you a member of the Genealogical Society of Rockland County? If not, you should be with your ancestry. The Society has a large dastabase with many Blauvelts anf Van Houtens. I think I have some Blauvelt ancestors. There may also be some on the Phillips-Knapp website, www.tribalpages.com/tribes (I think that is correct--if not let me know) I am the President of the Genealogical Society of Rockland County, and would love to see you at our next meeting, the 4th Tuesday in November. (I am also co-chairperson of the Phillips-Knapp Family Reunion). I actually live in Englewood, Bergen County. If Sarah's last name was Smith, we are looking at the same branch. There may be others, but that's what I saw with a quick glance. As for the gift, I live in West Nyack about 2 miles from the Nanuet Cemetery. Some of the information I got from the book and about 8 of them I got from walking the cemetery. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Don Secor Sent: Tuesday, October 31, 2006 8:59 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [NYROCKLA] Blauvelt/Jersey/McLeod/Husson/Frederick ofRocklandCounty NY 1873 Wm N. 1828 & Mary 1830 Albart 1753 Only have 1 Blauvelt, a Sarah md to Jonas Secor.
