    3. My great grandfather William Henry Fish, Jr., had amongst his siblings a sister Henrietta who married Chauncey Tompkins Secor (28 Dec 1844-12 Mar 1913). On my database I have Chauncey traced back to his great grandparents Francis Secor (18 Aug 1732--___) and Sarah Horton. I am sure I have more information; just haven't entered it as we are getting remote from me at this point. I have also traced most of the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Chauncey Tompkins Secor and Henrietta Fish (always referred to as "Grandma Secor.") I spent Labor Day weekend with a grandchild Alice Secor and her daughter Karen Montemarano, as they drove to and from Watertown with me for the wedding of one of my nieces. When I was in third grade one of my maiden great aunts, Mary Washburn Fish (my maternal grandfather's sister) moved in with us. Being single she was always close to her myriad of cousins. Thus i know some third cousins in that line better than some of my own first cousins. Hence my knowledge of the Secor Family. It also helped that it wasn't until the grandchildren of Chauncey and Grandma Secor that movement out of Westchester began. Several are still there. If I recall correctly, the "Tompkins" that is Chauncey's middle name is named for an ancestor of hius of that surname who was the second Vice President of the United States. I am rearranging my genealogy at the moment, and when I come across the Secor stuff I will keep it out for you. Do you belong to the Rockland County Genealogical Society? If not you should join. At any rate you should attend the next meeting (4th Tuesday in November) at which I will be present (as I am the President). I could copy and bring you a lot of Secor materials. My recollection is that ours do go back to Ambroise Sicord, but i will confirm that. 3. Hi Don, I found my box of Secor information, and the White Plains line does go back to to Ambroise Sicard, born 1631 in LaRochelle, France. He was the great-grandfather of the Francis Secor who is the furthest back name I have entered on my database to date. I have a lot of notes, articles, and other miscellaneous documents. As of now they are in no particular order other than they are as they were given to me by my cousin (2nd once removed) Bill Seocr. He doesn't have a computer, so we have to communicate by snail mail or telephone. 3. Don, In further looking through the documents, I see I have s list of the children and grandchildren of Ambroise Sicard. Many lines follow down from there. It was done before or without a computer, so some is typed and some handwritten. What is your descendancy from Ambroise? I see a few Rockland-sounding names.
