Westchester County Genealogical Society (NY) Upcoming Meeting The upcoming meeting is on Scrapbooking – Shaping the Way You Remember. On Saturday Sept 9 at 10am, Creative Memories Consultant Roz Kendrick-Jones will present this topic. Scrap booking is a perfect avenue to showcase your family photos and memories that will be a gift for future generations. Ms. Kendrick-Jones has been scrap booking for over 3 years. A friend got her started with her wish to document family events for her own children. Roz helps people to organize and to preserve their family photos in a way to enhance the pictures on album pages as well as to draw attention to the journaling on the page. Bring photos and scrapbooks to the meeting if you desire. The meeting will be held at the Aldersgate Methodist Church, 600 Broadway in Dobbs Ferry (across from Mercy College on route 9). Guests are welcome. There will be refreshments and genealogical networking starting at 9:30am.
