    3. I am not a direct line but do have information that I obtained from Viola Burkhart that I can share. I have not checked it all out. Ann and Anna Mary Rhinesmith was born Apr 11, 1832 in Macopin, NJ. She died May 28, 1919 in Tallman, Rockland Co, NY and was buried in the Tallman Cemetery on May 31, 1919, in Tallman, NY. She married Phillip C Thornton, son of Henry Thornton and Sarah Cooper on Mar 2, 1852 in West Milford, Passaic, NJ. Phillip was born Dec 20, 1826 in Jersey City. He died on Jun 25, 1912 in Tallman, Rockland Co, NY and is buried in the Tallman Cemetery also. She lists the following children. Julia Rhinesmith Thornton born Oct 16, 1852 and died after 1920. Phillip Henry Thornton born Dec 25, 1853 and died Jan 8, 1916 in Paterson, NJ. He is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Tallman. Mary Ellen Thornton born about 1855 died 1930 John A Thornton born about 1858 and died Sept 17, 1935 Anna Thornton born 1862. Charles A. WE. Thornton born on May 31, 1869 and died on Aug 3, 1894 in S. Monsey. Buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Tallman, NY If I remember correctly, this is her line also. Looking at her information, Phillip Henry Thornton married Nunnellia Bean, daughter of Franklin Jay Bean and Amanda M Shelley on Nov 24, 1880 in Monsey, Rockland Co, NY. Nunnellia was born on Mar 15, 1858. She died about 1939. Maybe the Bean on the 1880 census is her brother?? What information are you looking for specifically? I have much more from her. What line are you following? Hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, September 12, 2006 1:29 PM Subject: [NYROCKLA] Philip Thornton, Marcus Bean, Anna M Rhinesmith > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Thornton,Rhinesmith,Bean > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YUB.2ACI/2077 > > Message Board Post: > > Does anyone have any information on Philip and Ann M (Rhinesmith) Thornton?
