They then migrated to NY State to Orange County, Monroe, NY and settled thereuntil 1870. They then chose to live in Ramapo, Rockland County, NY there after. We could not locate them anywhere in 1900 to get birth dates on them. Their children include, > > Julianna Thornton (Rhinesmith) 1853 > Philip Thornton 1854 > Mary E Thornton 1855 > John Thornton 1859 > Ann L Thornton 1861 > Charles Thornton 1869 > > Any help would be greatly appreciated. > Thanks in advance!!! > > The one son, Philip, was living in Rockland County, NY with his sister Julianna who married a Rhinesmith. She was already widowed by 1880 and had no children with her. There was also a Marcus Bean in the household. He was 20 years old. He was born in New York and his father Mass and mother Conn.
