No wonder it's confusing. I was going by Leonard Weyant Jr.'s history where he notes that John was buried in the Waldron's graveyard because "one of his daughters had married into the Waldron family" - thus the supposed affliation. I assumeded that Clarissa had to be his daughter. Small gene pool. Wondering how we are connected? My mother is Susan-Jane Weyant - daughter of Chester and Jane Carpenter. My cousin David is still in Highland Falls. My Great grandfather was Charles Weyand and GG was King. The tree I've posted on this site is called "Weyant-Ward." Hoping it is accurate.
