Hello fellow listers, I don't know whether any of you were watching the History Channel yesterday evening. On the program Modern Marvels, the subject was brick manufacturing. One of the segments covered the manufacturing of bricks by the brickyards on the lower Hudson, specifically in and around Haverstraw. It had quite a bit of film footage,especially about the collapse of the section of Haverstraw that was undermined by the excavations to remove clay too close to the town.
