I wonder if your conklin ties somehow into mine. Harry J. conklin, born NY circa 1879;. What also caught my eye, was the name "Ervin". Ervin, I don't know if folks ever used that as a first name, vs being a surname. However, there are a few relations (in laws to conklin) who gave Ervin as a middle name. My relations bounced around; but particuarly in the Rockland- Ramapo area; warwick and northern bergen county area. If you have any thoughts...
