My John Maguire has a bank record from Sloatsburg, NY in 1856 but he ended up in the Southfields/Tuxedo, NY area and worked for the Erie RR. I have been unable to find any naturalization records for him in Orange County and wonder if anyone knows about researching naturalization records for Rockland County, especially the Sloatsburg, NY area....or would have other suggestions! I'm wondering if he may have obtained his naturalization in another county other than Orange County. I don't know why his bank record is in Sloatsburg, NY....any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so very much!
