Hi Group, I received a note from the secretary at the Tappan Reformed church, Tappan, NY. stating that they are no longer allowed to even open the old books dating back from 1694 to 1831 because the pages are falling apart. They can no longer do look-ups for this time period. They are hoping to have this information read and restored, but that it is written in old Dutch and needs to be translated. My question is has this information been placed in any books ? Besides the " History of Rockland County, NY" by David Cole. Thanks, Donna.
