Hi, John Allison arrived around 1718 from Hempstead, Long Island. From the info I have, it seems he was the start of the Allisons in Haverstraw. I am looking for any and all information on the Allison activity in Haverstraw from this time period up to and including the revolution. At the time of the revolution, the family apparently split.
