My GGrandfather was Abram DRAIN states he was born in Rockland Co. 1825. James, Abram and Joseph DRAIN all living in Brooklyn, NY from 1845 through 1865. All stated they were born in Rockland Co. on the 1855 and 1865 state censuses. Some DRAIN family members are buried in Brooklyn others DRAIN families moved west.
